Junior Conference / Events Producer London EC1 £20,000 - £25,000 DOE Plus Profit Share, After Probationary Period: Pension and Healthcare
An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Conference / Events Producer to join our client, an international energy market price and analysis service provider based in London.
This entry-level position would suit an enthusiastic candidate looking to utilise their office experience in an exciting role.
Our client produces highly-targeted niche conferences geared around trading in different energy markets including oil, gas, biofuels and others. And as the Junior Conference / Events Producer you will work with senior Conference Producers to assist with a number of already established events.
As you grow into the role you will then help to develop the company’s portfolio of popular, unique, high quality and commercially successful conferences.
This isn’t an events management role, rather one that focuses on creating ideas for conferences, assessing them to see if they are commercially viable and if they are, making them happen. As such, you should have the ability to grasp the essentials of complicated and unfamiliar subject matter quickly and accurately, and have good research skills.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- experience of working in an office - a degree (or equivalent), ideally in a related field - a good level of IT literacy
Additionally, as the Junior Conference / Events Producer you’ll need to be a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys working with others and can manage your own workload. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are also essential as is drive and enthusiasm.
Whilst not essential, any marketing or media experience would be beneficial to your application.
